Nutritionist Sara Clemen Parks joined the Penn State faculty in the College of Health and Human Development in 1975, became associate dean in 1994, and director of the School of Hotel Restaurant, and Recreation Management in 2003. She retired emerita in 2005. She was a long-time member of the American Dietetic Association, and was elected Secretary Treasurer (1990-1992) and president (1993-1994).
